Amazingly this was one of the best fights in the anime. It was animated with such detail I could almost feel the power and speed of the fight. The most amazing thing is it was filler. No other filler fight was anywhere close to that good.

I agree though. It was the best filler fight by far.

Oh, about SSJ2 Goku taking on Kid Buu and doing well...yeah doesn't make much sense considering how Vegeta got completely trashed later, but it is filler after all. You could just say Kid Buu was only warming up I guess.

Oh, also, the combo Goku does at the start with all the flips, jumps and kicks ending with the blast is one of his super moves in Raging Blast :P

I think it was sort of like a statement of how kid buu fights. He enjoys to fight at his opponents level to keep his battles longer. Reason why all the Kai's looked like they did pretty good in their filler scenes too.

no i mean ss 2 goku and ss2 vegeta are both extremly strong. he probably gave buu a little trouble in the begining.

i think what made this fight so good and fun to watch was that this was the first fight that we have seen take place on the ground for ever. most fights take place in the ski for the most part. aslo some of gokus moves/ blast were original compared to his normal stuff

I love Gohan and Videl
Dragon ball Z Forever

"Guardian of the city, I am the one and only...Great Saiyaman!" - Gohan
"Fight you? No, I wanna kill you." - Gohan to Super Buu

"It will take more than head games to stop me! You may have invaded my mind and my body, but there's one thing a Saiyan always keeps...HIS PRIDE!" - Vegeta

"There's no such thing as fair or unfair in battle. There is only victory, or in your case, defeat." - Vegeta

"Servant woman, bring me a drying cloth at once!" - Vegeta

"I am the hope of the universe. I am the answer to all living things that cry out for peace. I am protector of the innocent. I am the light in the darkness. I am truth. Ally to good! Nightmare to you!" - Goku

what i liked most about the fight was its focus on martial arts and cool moves, like the "gogeta flip kick". def one of the best start ups to an epic fight in dbz.

BURN THIS INTO YOUR MIND! I am emperor of the universe! The likes of you are only fit to grovel at my FEET....or better still TO BE CRUSHED, LIKE AN INSECT AT THe WHIM OF YOUR MASTER!!!- Chris Ayres, Freeza, DBZKAI dub from Funimation

Yeah, definitely, that's why I loved it, even though it made no sense.

Buu's only reason for existence was to cause absolute destruction. He enjoyed the destruction he brought to the universe. On the rare occasion he ever showed any restraint of his power, it was to make his "game" of destruction last longer instead of producing an instant kill. He is not a sadistic killer seeking to bring pain to his victims, as he seemingly doesn't know or even care about pain, nor does he seek to lord over anything. He merely seeks to have fun creating havoc and destruction in the whole universe. Only by Kid Buu gaining enlightenment through absorbing other beings is existence spared, and, of course, by a Genki Dama fueled by every being on Earth and beyond.

Though he is highly irrational and insane, Kid Buu does seem to have some intelligence, as he quickly realized that Goku refused to hit him with the Spirit Bomb as long as Vegeta was in the area and took advantage of it by pinning the latter to the ground.

"Then something happened inside of me. I didn’t care anymore. I didn’t care about being better than Kakarott. I didn’t care about being a Super Saiyan. I didn’t even care if I lived or not. I didn’t care about anything…and that’s when it happened."

Piccolo Daimao > Piccolo Jr.

This fight was by far one of the best fights i´ve ever saw it was more concentrated on martial arts, It was freaking awsome.
Once upon a time, there used to be a signature. Then it got lame, and now I'm out of options for a new one.

SSJ2 Goku vs Kid Buu was one of the best fights of the series.

Too bad it's not factual.

Nothing indicates that Vegeta got any weaker after being brought back from the dead.

SSJ2 Goku = SSJ2 Vegeta

As we can see Vegeta gets trashed. So Goku should as well.

But nonetheless a great fight.

It's been a while since I've seen that fight. Fights focusing more on hand to hand combat are more exciting for me because the detailed animation is cool and when energy waves are used, it usually ends a lot quicker. There's always the excuse of "that last attack drained all of my power" or "that was my best attack; now I can't win."

has anyone ever stopped to think that maybe Trunks just bought his sword somewhere or something? There's nothing really special about it.

Y2J

Well it did manage to slice Frieza into a shishkebab so it must've been packing more power than your average blade. Hell even Zelda's sword couldn't pull off that ****.

I don't believe in power levels after the Frieza Saga. :D
Now, there's an idea.

You're right. Babidi released all of Vegeta's hidden power. It's not like his power would just go back to hiding once Babidi's gone.

showin Vegeta gettin trashed, and Goku not, only proves that the creators always rooted for Goku to keep his dignity visually, while letting Vegeta get the scraps or 2nd hand winnings..

Yes I believe AT stated that Vegeta is created after everything he hates in a person. Makes sense for him to get the ***** end of the stick.
